Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to check out the Century Park East Foot and Ankle Center. Our "Great Foot Doctors" and staff have over fifty years of experience treating tens of thousands of patients who have "limped in and walked out of our offices. "If your feet hurt, you will hurt all over."
Each foot has twenty-six bones which together represent 1/4 of the total number of bones in your body. The bones and joints, together with the ligaments, tendons, nerves, arteries, veins and muscles must support and absorb the weight of the body and the activities that one wants to perform. If a tendon is torn, a bone is broken, or a toenail is ingrown, it causes pain, thereby leading to abnormal function and symptoms elsewhere in the body.
As you review our website, we hope that you will appreciate how many things can go wrong with your feet and ankles. These problems left untreated can not only lead to foot problems, but also ankle, knee, hip and postural symptoms. We will also attempt to provide you information on how many of these problems can be treated, with an emphasis on structural and functional care of the foot and ankle. It is not uncommon that with proper stretch exercises and the use of custom made orthodic devices ( arch supports), some very painful problems can dissapear.
Please do not hesitate to call when you are ready to make an appointment.
